13 Year Old Student Struck By Vehicle At School Bus Stop

A 13-year old student was injured after being struck by a car the intersection of Glenmore road and Glen Ridge Drive in the Town of Annsville.

State Police say the girl was walking towards a stopped Camden Central School District School Bus Thursday, March 7. The red lights were on and the stop signs out on he bus.

A vehicle being driven 39-year old Christy Vongkhamchanh of Taberg failed to stop for the school bus, according to police, striking the student on the passenger's side of the car.

The teen hit the lower passenger side of the windshield and was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for a medical evaluation.

Vongkhamchanh was tickets for failure to stop for a school bus and speeding.
