Taylor Swift isn't about to let the haters hate when a bunch of adult-site domain names show up on the internet in June. The country-turned-pop icon recently purchased the websites TaylorSwift.porn and TaylorSwift.adult before they get tarnished by trolls.

According to a recent CNN Money article, nonprofit organization Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers recently expanded its number of generic top-level domains (gLTDs) to include more than just your typical domain urls like .com, .net and .org.

Now, dirty domains like .porn, .adult and even .sucks are being labeled as gLTDs, which gives certain companies and people the opportunity to register the domains before they are open to the general public on June 1. Ever a savvy businesswoman, Swift has wisely snapped up gLTDs related to her name, joining big companies like Microsoft who has also done the same by purchasing Office.adult and Office.porn.

While the move to buy naughty domains associated with your name may seem like a bad idea, it’s actually a smart move for image-conscious brands like Taylor Swift. The last thing the sweet superstar wants is someone getting ahold of a website URL associated with her name and using it for repugnant reasons.

Swift is currently preparing for her 2015 tour in promotion of her first pop album, 1989. The first show is in Tokyo on May 5.
