Last year, hundreds of people from the Mohawk Valley gathered to watch a friendly softball game between local first-responders and the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team (WWAST). The veterans played in order to educate and inspire the crowd that they were still capable of this kind of athletic ability and show how beneficial physical therapy can be.

Paul Fortin is a 69-year-old Boonville, NY resident who is also a Vietnam Veteran. Paul remains very active and is about to embark on an incredible journey for an amazing cause. On February 9th Paul will journey on a nine-day expedition to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa to support the Sitrin Health Care Center’s Military Rehabilitation Program.
