It was right around Christmas of 2015 that the people of New Hartford learned DeFazio's Pizzeria was closing for good. The popular eatery left a void in the village that some thought irreplaceable. Now a sign in the window of the old pizza shop has people excited again.

As reported late last year, a new Country themed bar will be opening up in the old "Toby Keith's" location at Destiny USA in Syracuse. Now, there is an official grand opening date and 'Cowboys Saloon: American Bar & Grill' is looking to fill 100 positions for their August 13th and 14th opening weekend.

A new list is out, naming 15 favorite restaurants across Central New York. Georgio's Village Cafe in New Hartford was one of the great restaurants in the area that made the cut.

If you have ever eaten at the Secret Garden Restaurant in Utica, then you know how delicious their food is. Unfortunately, this is the last chance for you to get your favorite dish at this popular Italian eatery, or to try it for the first and last time. The business will close for good after they're done serving on Sunday, May 22nd.

A new list was created naming the Top 15 "Hole in the Wall" restaurants in the state of New York. Two of those places are not too far from the Utica area.

Golden Corral is one of America's favorite buffets and they may be returning to Central New York. The proposed restaurant is planned for Syracuse and it would be the first time in over 10 years the franchise would be here in our neck of the woods.
