Dog Found in Remsen Needs a Home

As one missing dog is found in Blossvale, another is without it’s owner in Remsen. This Lab/Shepherd mix showed up at a home in Remsen. Corrine Feeley has been trying to find it’s owner, without success. If anyone knows who the pet belongs to can contact Corrine. She posted this on our Facebook page.

I know a dog that loves ice cubes. If an ice cube drops on the floor from the freezer, the dog is right there to eat it up. Do you have a dog or know a dog like this? If you do, you know how much fun these pooches would have if they could use an ice machine built into the front of a refrigerator door. It's like these dogs in the video. They have figured out how to operate the refrigerator ice machine, and it's like they hit the jackpot with the big pay out being ice cubes. Check it out. I thought it was pretty funny, and just goes to prove how smart our pets are!

The dog just wanted to sniff her and the cat would just hiss at the dog. Oh how time changes everything. Both are use to each other now and spend a lot of time playing together. We have a new addition to our family. We picked up this cute little kitten over the weekend. Ironically, Matt and his wife picked up a new pet this weekend too. They adopted a cat from the humane society and named her Fenway, since Matt's wife is a Boston Red Sox fan. Our newest member of the family remains nameless. I thought of boots for her white paws, but that's so common. I'd rather pick something unique. Any suggestions?

She's at it again. My Chihuahua Mia is singing. I brought you a video a few months back of her singing to Miranda Lambert (click the link to watch it). Well, this time, she's singing to "Because of You" the Raba and Kelly Clarkson version and "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood. At about 1:36 in the video, Mia is spot on with the Carrie Underwood vocals. She really does love to sing. She does it all the time. If she had to pick a favorite country singer to sing along to, it would have to be Carrie.
