Someone Hacked Into Montana’s Emergency Alert System, and Claimed There Was a Zombie Attack
Zombies are on the loose in Montana. Someone hacked into the EAS in Montana, to warn residents of a ZOMBIE ATTACK. It aired on the CW network, and claimed 'the bodies of the dead [were] rising from their graves and attacking the living.'
The bogus alert was immediately pulled and KRTV released the following apology:
Someone apparently hacked into the Emergency Alert System and announced on KRTV and the CW that there was an emergency in several Montana counties.
This message did not originate from KRTV, and there is no emergency.
Our engineers are investigating to determine what happened and if it affected other media outlets.
The only walking dead are on AMC Sunday nights at 9.
