Lynyrd Skynyrd's Farewell Tour Bringing Country Superstars To CNY

Lynyrd Skynyrd is calling it quits with their 'Last of the Street Survivors Farewell Tour' with an all-star lineup that includes some of country's biggest stars. And they're coming to Central New York.

The group will kick off the 30-stop tour on May first in Florida with country superstars Hank Williams, Jr., Charlie Daniels Band, and Kid Rock.

The tour will also feature southern rock favorites The Marshall Tucker Band, Bad Company, 38 Special, Blackberry Smoke and Blackfoot.

Here in CNY you'll be able to see the tour at Darien Lake in July, and the Lakeview Amphitheater in August.

If you're willing to travel a little farther, the tour also makes stops at the Jones beach Theater in Wantaugh(near NYC), and the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts(near Woodstock).
