Racing is still planned for Saratoga this summer.

A lot could change between now and the start of the racing season, but according to a CBS 6 report, Saratoga Race Course is still set to open on July 16th. Saratoga Springs Commissioner of Finance Michele Madigan added the city should be prepared for racing without fans. There are several tracks in the US who are currently operating with no fans.

The number one thing we are all hoping for is the coronavirus pandemic coming to a swift end and for all of our neighbors being safe and healthy. After that, we are hoping we can all get back to a little bit of normalcy, enjoying the activities we are use to experiencing. This includes shows at SPAC this summer and of course the race course opening up in July. Lets keep our fingers crossed everything gets back to normal soon so we can get back out and about to enjoy the things we love.

Summer would certainly be much different and feel incomplete without fans at the race course this summer.
