Clinton Shepherd, a manager at the Navy Yard of Chicago, has set a new world record for continuous Ferris Wheel riding having gone round and round, up and down for 48 hours, 8 hours and 25 minutes breaking the old record by over 13 hours. Shepherd--who was given a 5 minute break per hour--stayed awake the entire time. How did he do it?
2 days ago The devastating tornadoes that ripped through Oklahoma have left 24 people dead. The pictures of the destruction are heart wrenching. Over 100 people were discovered alive overnight. One woman was explaining her ordeal to a TV reporter, talking about her lost dog, when the reporter saw the pet among the rubble. What a happy reunion. Grab the Kleenex. I wish more stories would end up like this.

2 days ago At the last match of the season for the English soccer team, a toddler scored one of the best and cutest goals of the day. It happened after the game when a bunch of friends and family were down on the field, and their kids were kicking soccer balls around. The goalie's toddler started dribbling a ball toward one of the goals and the crowd started cheering for him like it was a real game. Then they went NUTS when the ball finally went in, and the kid threw his arms up in the air, which was my favorite moment. Worth a minute to watch. So cute!
