Ever wonder what the inspiration was behind some of country music's biggest hits? Well, now that information will be readily available. 'Nashville Songwriter: The Inside Stories Behind Country Music's Greatest Hits' will be released on Sept. 9 and includes the stories behind some some of country music's most-beloved tunes.

Craig Wiseman, Bob DiPiero, Bill Anderson, Tom Shapiro, Kelley Lovelace, Rivers Rutherford, Tom T. Hall, Chris Dubois, Dallas Davidson, David Lee Murphy, Brett James, Ashley Gorley and Neil Thrasher are just a few of the numerous songwriters who share the stories behind their songs. In addition, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and John Rich each share their exclusive commentary on country music as an added bonus.

Songs featured in the book, which spans more than 300 pages, include Kenny Chesney's 'The Good Stuff' and 'There Goes My Life,' George Strait's 'Give It Away' and 'Blue Clear Sky,' 'Tennessee Whiskey' by George Jones, Brad Paisley's 'Remind Me' and 'When I Get Where I'm Going' and Luke Bryan's 'Play It Again,' among many others.

Several of the hit tunesmiths also share their wisdom and advice on the craft of songwriting.

"When you write a lot, you do get better at it," Wiseman explains. "You learn about yourself, you push yourself, you grow, and if you do it a lot, too -- a lot of it is to just do it."

Veteran music industry author Jake Brown wrote the book, which will be available at all major book outlets, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Books-a-Million. Pre-order a copy here.
