Workshop- Fine Tuning Your Fertilizer Program

A workshop called  "Fine tuning your fertilizer" will be held on Thursday October 22nd from 11AM - 2:30PM at the Farm and Home Center 121 second street in Oriskany. The $10 cost includes lunch. Preregister by October 16th.

Many local agriculture producers are being squeezed by low commodity prices and high input costs. One of those input costs that hasn’t really decreased is fertilizer. Most producers can save money in fertilizer purchases by soil and manure testing and developing a manure and fertilizer plan for their farm. The objective of this workshop is to give you the tools to develop those plans for your farm. Call Linda at 315-736-3394 x 124 to preregister. CCA credits are available.
