39th Annual Vernon Center Old Home Day in the park will be held on Saturday August 6th from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For questions call 829-2172.

Dozens of Craft and Flea market vendors along with other boothe's of varied interests will circle the park. Music will be all day in the Gazebo starting at 10a.m. with Fritz's Polka Band. At 12 noon the E-Z Strings Band will play in memory of Charlie Hicks our former announcer of many years. Charlie was a talented musician and loved playing his banjo with this band and the Norton Street Strummers. At 1:30 p.m. Matt and Thelma Chase will delight the crowd with Country Music. At 3:30 p.m. Tim Creaser will bring his rendition of many Johnny Cash songs.
On display all day: Antique and Classic cars, the VVS FFA Maple Sugar Sap House.
Delights for the Kids: Ballon Walk by Airborne Adventures, Egg Toss at 10:30a.m., Kids Tractor Pull at noon, Magician Jim Oke at 1:30p.m., and Pie-eating Contest at 3:00p.m.
Variety at the Food Court: pulled pork, chili, salt potatoes, burgers, hot dogs, sausages, homemade pies, fried dough, beverages, and BBQ Chicken-halves only for take out at 4 p.m.
