Slocum-Dickson Medical Group’s Pulmonology Department will present a Free COPD/Asthma Screening Day, at the Group’s New Hartford location on Tuesday, November 19th from 11AM to 2PM in the main level entrance lobby. This event is free and open to the public.
No appointment is necessary. Free screenings will include Spirometry (lung function test) and Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency Test (for genetic cause of COPD). Educational information on Asthma, COPD, smoking cessation and Alph-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency will be available.
