My names Dave Wheeler and I host afternoons on Big Frog 104. I've grown up in Central New York my entire life, and I've been all over the radio dial. I've graduated from Westmoreland High School in 2009, and currently live in Utica with my wife Sarah. We just got married on June 14th of 2014. We have a dog named Dexter, and two cats named Oliver and Milo that we spoil like our own children. Follow me on Twitter @DJDaveWheeler.
Sam Alex has worked for country stations across the nation and never misses his favorite acts when they come to town. He's been on red carpets for many different awards shows and interviewed some of your favorite celebrities, like Will Ferrell and Taylor Swift. Originally from Chicago, Sam now lives in Nashville, where he hosts the Taste of Country Nights radio show, a syndicated night show which airs on more than 75 stations nationwide. If you ever see him on lower Broadway, get him a pina colada and some BBQ chicken pizza
My radio career began in Watertown NY at Froggy 97. From there it was a trip across country from a Froggy station in Ohio and another in Kentucky. I tried being normal at a station in Arizona but I've always been a frog at heart. I was born a loooong time ago in Gananoque Ontario Canada. I've called the US my home since 1995. In my spare time I love to play golf, when it's not snowing or Texas Hold Em poker. I'm a reality freak. I DVR everything from The Voice to Big Brother
Birth Date: August 20th want to hear me roar?!! Favorite Artists: Dwight Yoakum, Steve Earle, Toby Best Concert: Neal McCoy Greatest Showman ever!!!! The only artist that has ever had me standing through the entire show, even his Christmas show! Hobbies: Golf, Texas Hold “Em and Eatin’ Cheeseburgers What Froggy fans would be surprised to know about me: Grew up a farm boy, actually rode a horse to go count the cattle every day. By the way it was uphill both ways! If I had one wish: What really happened at the JFK assination?
I was born and raised right here in Central New York and graduated from Ilion High School. In my free time I love to explore the Adirondacks while kayaking and camping every spring/summer. I also love sports including the Dallas Cowboys, the New York Yankees and the New York Knicks. Since Utica brought the Comets back in 2013 I've enjoyed getting more into hockey as well! Since 2012 I have not cut my hair so I will eventually be able to make a donation to an organization that makes wigs for children suffering from hair loss due to illness
