Country Stars Send Prayers After Body of Craig Strickland Found
After a weeklong search, Craig Strickland has been found dead. Strickland's wife Helen shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram.
"We can finally rest knowing that he is at Home in Heaven with his Father," she wrote.
Strickland's body was recovered in Kaw Lake in Oklahoma. "He had fought his way out of the water and up a hill before the stages of hypothermia set in. He experienced no pain in his final moments and simply felt like he was falling asleep. They found him lying in the shape of a cross looking up to his Father."
Several country stars have shared their prayers and support on social media.
Our deepest condolences to the family of Craig Strickland.May the presence of our merciful God surround you and give you peace .

The Backroad Anthem singer went duck hunting with friend Chase Morland on Dec. 27, who tweeted “In case we don’t come back, @BackroadCRAIG and I are going right through Winter Storm Goliath to kill ducks in Oklahoma. #IntoTheStorm,” Morland tweeted before they left.
A GoFundMe campaign has been set up to cover funeral costs.
