Cohoes Teen Madison Vandenburg Makes American Idol Top 8

How far will Madison Vandenburg go on American Idol as the Top 10 became the Top 8.

It was a magical night for Madison Vandenburg during Disney night on American Idol. The Cohoes, New York teen received another standing ovation for her performance of 'How Far I'll Go' from Moana that had all three judges singing Madison's praises. "We've heard that song done a lot and you've just surpassed any version I've ever heard," said Luke Bryan. Lionel Richie agreed. "I love you so much. The talent is so amazing." While Katy Perry was in awe over the notes Madison continues to hit."You were climbing the mountain of so many notes. I can't believe it. Do these notes even exist."

Two Idol hopefuls were eliminated. Madison was the second to hear the good news, to no one's surprise, moving into the Top 8.

The American Idol Top 8 will perform Sunday, April 28 at 8pm on ABC.
