It's the big week in Nashville.  CMA Fest.  You can see, hear and meet almost any country artist you want.  Some you may have to wait longer for.  But most country artists from Reba McEntire, Shania Twain and Zac Brown to the upcomers can be found in Nashville this week.

Joanie Koons of Oriskany and three friends, Kate Nicoletta of New Hartford, Kandi Haas Floyd (Joanie's daughter) and Missy Jackson of Clark Mills are spending the week at CMA Fest.  Before leaving Joanie promised to keep us posted on what was going on in Nashville.  And by the looks of the pictures, the girls have been busy.

Thanks Joanie for the recap and the photos.  Keep em coming if you can find the time.

"This week is unbelievable. Every Country fan should try to attend the festival at some time. The fans, the artists, the venues....everything is just too much to put into words. We keep saying that we can't top this and then the next day we do!!

pics from LP field. It was truly amazing. Zac Brown Band was first. Randy Travis came out as a surprize and sang with them, then Alan Jackson came out and sang "As she's walking away" with them.  Easton Corbin was next, then Sara Evans, then Jason Aldean ROCKED that stadium - Kelly Clarkson came out and sang with him.  Brad Paisley was last with the biggest surprize - ALABAMA!!!  It was truly the best show ever!!!

And it just is so great because the Country music fans are of all age groups from young people to seniors all singing along and having a blast. I don't think any other music genre is that diverse."
