If you were planning to head up to the Boonville-Oneida County Fairgrounds for snowmobile racing this weekend, you're going to have to wait a little longer.

With the warm weather and rain the area has seen in the past few days and weeks, there just isn't enough snow to sustain the ice-oval for the races.

Instead, event organizers have postponed the Snow Festival to the second weekend in March in hopes that Mother Nature will cooperate better.

The Boonville-Oneida County Fairgrounds will now host three days of sled racing on March 9, 10, & 11.

Beginning Friday the 9th, you can see some of the best snowmobile racing in the northeast with a weekend jam-packed with events.
