A third country concert has been added to the free shows at the 2021 New York State Fair.

Russell Dickerson will perform on Chevy Park stage Wednesday, August 25. He joins the Brother's Osborne and the Oak Ridge Boys as the only country acts scheduled at the New York State Fair so far this year. But more acts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

“Fans of modern country music will love spending an evening with Russell Dickerson at the Fair. He’s an emerging artist who’s already seen lots of success. It will be a great night of music,” said Troy Waffner, Fair Director.

Concerts will likely take place on the Chevy Park stage in the New York Experience festival grounds. Attendance will be limited to allow for social distancing and tickets will be needed to enter the concert area. Although those tickets will be free with fair admission. Groups will be assigned to a designated area to enjoy the concert and masks will be required any time a person is outside their designated area.
