I was thinking the other day about words. We certainly say a lot of words on Big Frog 104, and our personal choice of words may indicate our age. So, during these "Frog Days of Fall", when the sun sets a little earlier every night, I had some time to think about words.

We use them every day in conversation - those overworked phrases and cliches that we all get tired of hearing (and saying). Maybe there's a better phrase to use than the one we automatically go to.

"It is what it is." That has to be a phrase I hear, at least, three times a day. And, every time I hear it, I get a bit annoyed. I can't explain it; it's just one of those things.
