A group of New Yorkers came to the rescue of an injured black bear last week after it was hit by a vehicle.

Cuteness alert! A wildlife team with Cornell University rescued approximately 150 baby turtles this summer and some were recently released into the wild.

When you live in the Adirondacks, you expect to see your fair share of wildlife outside your front door. But this is the first time Robin Andrews McElwee has ever spotted a moose.

They are also offering a number of tips on how to avoid conflicts with these predators as the weather gets warmer.

A photographer in Trenton Falls, New York was able to capture some of the most beautiful wildlife in this area, including an adult coyote playing with a stuffed animal - and the pictures are more than breath-taking.

Bears may be cute and cuddly when they're stuffed and given to children, but out in the wild they are vicious killers! Other than the polar bear, the grizzly bear is the most deadly. One mountain biker got a little more of a workout than he probably expected after being chased down by what I consider the land equivalent of a shark!
