And I'm off.  Well, almost.  The ADA Tour de Cure at Verona Beach State Park June 3rd, has officially kicked-off and the goal this year is $250,000, 725 riders and 100 volunteers.  It's all an effort to stop diabetes.

If I'm going to ride 15 miles in the Tour de Cure, I'll need a bike.  Thankfully Dan at Schuss Ski & Bike Shop in New Hartford has bikes and knows all about them.  He even set me up with special biking shoes and shorts with the padding in all the rights spots, thank goodness.  15 miles is hard on your behind.
