Every year the residents of New Hartford break out their lawn chairs and line Pearl Street to enjoy the annual Memorial Day parade. Fire Departments from all over the county, bands, and veterans march with pride and it's truly a sight to see! The community support is really remarkable.
Every year, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is always on the kitchen TV in the Greg "Splashin' McShea household. For baby boomers like me, that parade is a must on Thanksgiving morning, and for our kids generation, many of them have grown up with it too.
