A fire in the Residential Mental Health Unit at Marcy Correctional on May 11, 2022 is being called the worst in the site's history.

Illegal drugs, including synthetic marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine and suboxone were seized at the Mid-State and Marcy Correctional facilities.
