Anheiser-Busch, the maker of Budweiser is paying for 10,000 free rides through the ride sharing service Lyft every weekend starting this coming Thursday, September 21 through December 31st.
The wait is over - ride sharing services will finally begin in Upstate New York this week. Syracuse.com reports Lyft and Uber will officially start operating in this part of the state at 12:01 am on Thursday.
This may be the closest we have ever been to having ride sharing services available to us here in Upstate New York. It appears that lawmakers in Albany are close to finalizing a deal that would make Uber and Lyft apps legal in this part of the state.
