An annual tradition in support of our country's military veterans is back and a sight you have to see.

Over Memorial Day all over Central New York many local celebrations took place honoring men and women who served our country, and provided our freedom. While driving in New Hartford, I noticed a business had their flag displayed like this:

Today, June 14th is Flag Day, a day that we mark the anniversary of the adoption of the "Stars and Stripes" as the official flag of the United States by the Second Continental Congress in 1777. Although it is not an official federal holiday (it is a state holiday in Pennsylvania) Flag Day has a rich and colorful history.

Celebrating Flag Day today, gets my patriotic dander up.  In honor of that, here is my list of the top patriotic songs.  You'll find it a little different form other lists.  If not because of my selections, but that some may not be considered songs, especially the top two.
