The first winter storm of the season could be a slippery one. Rain, snow and freezing temperatures are expected Thursday through Friday in central New York.

While Hurricane Harvey is causing massive destruction to Texas and Louisiana with high winds and copious amounts of rain, it won't have any impact on our weather here in Upstate and Central New York.
