The 2020 CMT Music Awards will take place in the fall, rather than in June, due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The always-fun CMT Awards had a star-studded list of nominees for seven categories, including a new one for this year.

The announcement of the 2015 CMT Awards winners began early Wednesday night (June 10) with a couple of tomatoes.

The 2014 CMT Music Awards hosted some of country music's hottest stars on the red carpet. Springtime was in full force for the ladies with Kellie Pickler in bright fuchsia, Carrie Underwood in flowing petals and Cassadee Pope in the season's hottest cropped-top trend.

Kristen Bell has signed on to host the CMT Music Awards for the third year in a row! The 'Frozen' star is heading to Nashville to host the 2014 awards on June 4 and she took to Twitter to express her excitement.

FrogFest 2014 guest Tyler Farr has received a nomination for this year's CMT Music Awards in the category of "Breakthrough Video of the Year." His video for "Redneck Crazy" has the nod and he needs your help. Tyler's even offering up an incentive for your vote!

Carrie Underwood kicked off this year's CMT Music Awards with an emotional performance of 'See You Again,' that was dedicated to the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes.  Nelly stooped by to sing 'Cruise' with Florida Georgia Line, who were the big winners of the night.  Lenny Kravtiz and Jason Aldean also took the stage together.  And Keith Urban killed on guitar with Little Big Town for 'The Chain

Florida Georgia Line are the big winners so far at the 2013 CMT Music Awards. Their video for 'Cruise' picked up the night's first award for Breakthrough Video of the Year and later won Duo Video of the Year. Miranda Lambert is another two-time winner at this year's CMT Awards.

Carrie Underwood is planning a tribute to the Oklahoma tornado victims on tonight's 'CMT Music Awards,' She'll perform her song 'See You Again' backed by a church choir while images from Oklahoma are shown on a screen behind her.
