Put down the spoon of raw cookie dough. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a warning (again) about the dangers of eating uncooked dough or batter after a salmonella outbreak linked to raw flour.

Oneida County, Madison County, Otsego County, Herkimer County and Onondoga County all have reached "high" transmission status.

The map indicates areas where COVID-19 transmission rates are low, moderate, substantial and high. Areas in substantial or high areas are the ones being recommended to wear masks.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning about "zombie deer disease" that affects deer, elk, and moose - and have confirmed a case of it right here in Oneida County. It's possible it could affect humans too.
