Some people really will do anything for love. Last February, friends of Gerdi McKenna, who is battling breast cancer, set up a photo shoot for everyone. What happened will bring you to tears.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Since hearing a friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, I'm more aware.  My thoughts and prayers are with her as she goes through this difficult time.  I made her a promise to get my first mammogram, now that I've turned 40, and I've kept that promise.

October is "Breast Cancer Awareness Month", a time when we focus on this disease, and what we can do to help fight and prevent it.
