The death of a legendary boxer and COVID postpones Hall of Fame Weekend.

Canastota Police are looking for any information leading to the return of six beautiful championship belts that were stolen from The International Boxing Hall of Fame early on Thursday morning. The belts once belonged to Carmen Basilio and Tony Zale.

Former Lightweight Champion of the world, Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini, was at the boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota yesterday to promote the release of his new movie "The Good Son," a film about his life and boxing career.

Former WBA Lightweight Champion, Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini will visit the International Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota this Thursday (8/1).  Mancini, who some say was involved in a fight that changed the face of boxing, will tour the hall and greet fans at 3pm.  Click to find out why he's in town and details on the fight that changed his life forever.

Flags at the Boxing Hall of Fame in Canastota are at half-mast with the death of Carmen Basilio.  Nicknamed, the "Upstate Onion Farmer," Basilio died at Rochester General Hospital this morning at the age of 85.  A 3-time champion, he was best known for defeating Sugar Ray Robinson.  Check out the video highlights of his win over Sugar Ray Robinson.
