Health Department Urges Us To Get Flu Shots

At Big Frog 104 we want to keep you informed and healthy! The Oneida County Health Department is now urging us to get flu shots.

"The Oneida County Health Department say flu season will be here soon and residents should take steps now to protect themselves from the virus that affects 20% of the country’s population each year.

The flu vaccine is recommended for everyone 6-months of age or older.

The Health Department is offering flu shots at their Utica clinic on Elizabeth Street every Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 throughout September and October.

Flu shots will be available at their Rome location on September 25th, October 9th and October 23rd from 10:00 to noon.

Walk-in clinics will also be held in both locations.
