The community will say goodbye to the Whitesboro police officer killed in the line of duty. Calling hours for Officer Kevin Crossley will be held today and his funeral follows tomorrow.

Calling hours will be held from 4-5 tonight at the Utica Aud. A public viewing is scheduled for 5-8pm. A travel advisory from the state Department of Transportation is from 4-8 with additional traffic expected around the Aud tonight.

Officer Crossley's funeral is planned for 10am Wednesday and the DOT plans to close several roads for it.

Officer Crossley was killed when his patrol car was hit at the intersection of Oriskany Boulevard and Westmoreland Street Wednesday, April 11th.

GoFundMe campaign has been set up to help the family. Over $15,000 has been raised in 4 days.
