The Stone Storytellers presents the Gospel of Matthew

After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Stone Storytellers will once again perform their annual "Epic Telling". This performance will have stories unique to Matthew, such as the Visit by the Wise Men, the Sermon on the Mount, and parables like the Laborers in the Vineyard and the Parable of the Talents. Come and Experience the scriptures in the oral tradition they were created! An offering will be received for the Country Pantry and refreshments will be served after the performance. "In the beginning was the performance, not the word alone, not the deed alone, but both, each indelibly marked with the other forever" (Crossan, The Historical Jesus 1991, xi).
