Beginning Monday Nov. 9^th- Mon. Dec. 28^th Mohawk Valley Materials (MVM) will be holding a food, clothing and Toy Drive. We will have a donation bin at our Rome office and Marcy Retail shop. We are looking for donations of any non-perishable foods, especially holiday dinner items. As well as gently used or new clothing/winter coats and children’s toys.

All donations will support the Rome Rescue mission through the holidays. The missions statement is “a hand up not a hand out” they primarily serve those who have fallen on hard times and looking to get back on their feet, as well as single parents and children.

Last year the mission served over 2,200 holiday meals, delivered over 3,000 boxes of non- perishable  foods and provided shelter to over 50 local residents and children through the Holidays.
