Cancer Survivor’s Unforgettable Night with Thomas Rhett at Darien Lake

Look what God gave a New York girl who beat cancer - a selfie on stage with Thomas Rhett. The special moment for the 11 year-old happened Friday night at Darien Lake.

Madison Muckle of Albion went to the show after her mom surprised her with tickets in April, 8 years after she was first  diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. Madison battled her cancer for over 2 years and was officially cancer free April 10th, 2018.

She went to the concert with a homemade sign that read:

Look What God Gave Her

• Beat Cancer
• Thomas Rhett concert
• Selfie with Thomas Rhett

The only one not checked off was the selfie. But after Rhett noticed Madison and her sign in the crowd, he brought her on stage and not only took a selfie but gave her a hug as well.

Thomas tweeted about the tear-jerking experience after the concert.
