    "Highwayman"

Now, I know I may be cheating with this song because it's not just a solo Johnny Cash song, but, it's just such a great song I had to add it to the list. The version of the song in the video is from a 1985 Farm Aid concert. It's just so good. Clearly, Johnny steals the show in the video.

    "Tennessee Flat Top Box"

I remember hearing this song from when I was a little kid. So, it's on the list for not only nostalgia, but because it's a great song. This song was released back in 1961. And, later on, in 1987, Johnny's daughter Rosanne Cash recorded it. Here's her version.

    "Rusty Cage"

This song, originally by the band Soundgarden in 1992, was covered by Johnny Cash back in 1996 for Johnny's "Unchained" album. It's a great country and rock mix. The electric guitars give it that rock feel and Johnny gives it a country touch. Great cover.
