It's almost here. A time when Central New York country music fans get to come together in one place and listen to some amazing country music: Frogfest. And, for me, last year's Frogfest has left some great memories.

I'm one of the newer members at Big Frog 104, and last year marked my first Frogfest experience. I remember it was a nice hot day, the bands were playing, the fans were dancing and singing, and, I was selling balloons. Yup, if you remember a guy walking around asking if you would like to buy a balloon, that was me. And, I gotta tell ya', in my opinion, selling balloons at Frogfest is the best!

The main reason balloon selling is so much fun is because I get to interact with the fans. And, to me, that's one of the best parts about Frogfest. Meeting the fans and talking with them is just such a great experience. Not only are the Big Frog 104 fans a bunch of fun to hang out with, they are also one of the most dedicated group of fans. "We listen to Big Frog every day," fans would say. Or, "You're the only station I have on in my car," and "My kids love Big Frog." It's amazing and we appreciate it so much. To all the fans, thanks so much for listening--we truly appreciate it!

Another great memory that I have is being able to listen to our Frogfest headline Josh Turner perform an amazing show. I remember before Josh was scheduled to go on stage, it started to rain a bit. The crowd got wet, but they didn't care because Josh Turner was coming on soon. Eventually, the rain let-up and Josh came out. It was great. The fans were singing to the songs, everyone was smiling and happy. I was just so amazing. I'm running out of adjectives to tell you how good it was! Extraordinary, great, amazing, wonderful...

And, now we come to this year's Wild West Frogfest and Rodeo with Rodney Atkins. I can't wait. It's going to be so much fun, and I can't wait to see all the fans again this year. Like last year, I'll be doing my favorite job at Frogfest--selling balloons. So, if you see me selling balloons, stop over and say "Hi".

I can't wait to see everyone out there. The Wild West Frogfest and Rodeo is going to be June 18 at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds. The gate is going to open at 9 a.m and the rodeo starts at noon. At 2:30 p.m. is when the music begins. You can get more information at frogfestrodeo.com. And, again, thanks for listening to Big Frog 104!
