Over the past few weeks we've been asking you to vote for who you thought should win the 2013 CMA Awards.  As a voting member of the Country Music Association, we then cast our ballot to reflect CNY.  Click to see the results and then keep it here as we carry the CMA Awards SHow live tonight at 8.

The CMA Awards are based on people and their work that has achieved fame in Country Music between July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013.

Earlier today they announced the winners for Vocal Event of the Year and Video of the Year.  Both went to 'Highway Don't Care' featuring Tim McGraw, Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.  Which matched the CNY Vote, with 67% calling it a winner.

Florida Georgia Line rallied late to edge out Lee Brice with 29% of votes.  Lee Brice and Kip Moore were close behind.

CNY says it's 'Mama's Broken Heart' by Miranda Lambert.  The aforementioned, 'Highway DOn't Care' and Florida Georgia Line's 'Cruise' tied for second.  I would call that an upset.

Carrie Underwood must have a lot of CNY fans.  Her 'Blown Away' Album captured more than 51% of the votes.  Little Big Town's 'Tornado' was 2nd.

Anyone other than Florida Georgia Line would have to be an upset.  The CNY voters feel the same way with FGL collecting 35% of the vote.  Thompson Square was a close second, followed by Sugarland.

The Band Perry took exactly one-third of the vote.  Probably based on their numerous appearances in the area.  The rest of the vote was split between Lady Antebellum and The Zac Brown Band.  I'm guessing one of the latter two take home the trophy.

A late rally put Miranda Lambert on top barely edging out Carrie Underwood.  Both of them have taken the award home 3 times in a row.  Miranda the last 3, Carrie from 2006-2008.  This one is a toss up.

Keith Urban received 84% of the votes, that's the largest margin of victory in any of the categories.  While I think Keith is very deserving of the award, I don't see it happening.  My money is on Blake Shelton or Luke Bryan who finished a distant 2nd and 3rd.  Blake, by the way like wife Miranda is the current 3 time champ in the category.

The most coveted of all the trophies, and the winner is...(drum roll)... Luke Bryan.  He received 64% of the vote second only to Keith Urban's runaway as male artist.  Blake, the defending title holder and Jason Aldean tied for 2nd.  Don't be surprised by a George Strait win as a final salute to the King.

We have the complete broadcast of the show tonight at 8.
