With the recent Hollywood/Celebrity cheating scandals, the question now is, how forgiving are the women.  Maria Shriver filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger after he dropped the bombshell that he fathered another child with their housekeeper.  She filed the papers Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.  They don't have a prenup and under California law, she is entitled to half of his money.  And she deserves it.

On the other hand, Anthony Weiner's wife is still by his side after his sexting scandal broke.

A new survery by iVillage.com shows 10%f of married women would forgive their husband if he had a child out of wedlock like Arnold Schwarzenegger.  What!?  Why would any women stay with a man who not only isn't faithful but kept another child secret for years.  How could you ever trust him again?

As far as sexting goes, 66% of single women think it's an "unforgivable" offense, but only 48% of married women feel the same.  It's easier to say you wouldn't forgive your husband when you're single.  Marriage is about compromise as long as the marriage vows aren't broken and about being able to forgive.  No one is perfect and we all make mistakes.  It seems now a days more people are willing to throw in the towel when it comes to marriage instead of working it out.  Don't get me wrong, cheating is something my heart and my head could never forgive.  Once the trust is broken, so is the marriage but the rest is just life.

What do you think?  Would you forgive a cheating spouse of significant other?  Is sexting still cheating?
