Women Spend Over A Year Of Their Lives Applying Makeup
Men, you can identify with this. You say, “How much longer, dear” and she say’s “A couple of minutes, I’m putting on my makeup”. Translation, take a seat fella’. A new study has determined that the average woman spends 374 days, over a year, applying makeup a number that works out to be 3 hours and 19 minutes a week. Let’s break that down.
MailOnline reported the results of the survey commissioned by Harley Street beauty clinic Specialist Make-up Services
On average the women in the survey admitted taking 14.5 minutes on their weekday make-up routine, 24 minutes on a Saturday or Sunday, and just over once a week would spend 76 minutes getting ready for a big night out
The biggest time consumer are–you guessed it–the eyes. Before heading out for a big night on the town the study reports that between the mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and grooming of the eyebrows some 17 minutes plus is expended. It may sound like an awfully long time to be applying makeup but most men would agree that it’s usually well worth the wait.
