A new study has determined that the average woman spends 374 days, over a year, applying makeup a number that works out to be 3 hours and 19 minutes a week. Let’s break that down.

The biggest time consumer are–you guessed it–the eyes. Before heading out for a big night on the town the study reports that between the mascara, eyeliner, eye shadow and grooming of the eyebrows some 17 minutes plus is expended. It may sound like an awfully long time to be applying makeup but most men would agree that it’s usually well worth the wait.
