For those in search of something important to them, the quest never ends. For Lena Pierce it took 82 years, but she finally found what she was looking for. When she was just 14-years-old Lena gave birth to a baby girl on February 11th, 1933 in Utica, NY. At the time baby Eva May was about 6 months the state intervened and took the child away from Pierce. They considered her age too young to be a fit mother.
