“Wizard Of Oz” Actor To Appear At Turning Stone
Everyone loves “The Wizard Of Oz”, the classic 1939 film starring Judy Garland. In fact, my daughter has become quite the expert on the movie and Judy Garland as well. A cast member from that classic film will be making an appearance at Turning Stone and the 34th annual Oz-Stravaganza in Chittenango.

Here are the details from our sister station, WIBX:
The Turning Stone Resort and Casino is welcoming an original cast member from the famous classic movie, “The Wizard of Oz.”
Margaret Pellegrini, 88, was an original “Flower Pot Munchkin” in the movie, and will be meeting fans and signing photos in the Emerald Lobby of the Turning Stone on May 31st, from 5-7 p.m.
Pellegrini’s visit kicks off the 34th annual Oz-Stravaganza in Chittenango, a three-day event paying tribute to native resident and “Wizard of Oz” author, L. Frank Baum.
This year’s Oz-Stravaganza starts June 1st and carries the theme, “The Wonderful Witches of Oz.” Pellegrini will be the guest of honor this year and will ride on the Oneida Nation’s float. The Oneida Nation is a presenting sponsor of the event.”
