Winter Weather Advisory usually means we'll be shoveling and blowing snow. We'd probably prefer that to dealing with freezing rain, but there's some good news to the advisory too.

While the advisory is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, it most likely won't start until 10 this morning. At least that should get most workers off the road. Here are the details from the National Weather Sevice:

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO
7 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of a
light glaze are expected.

* WHERE...Madison and Southern Oneida Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 7 PM EST this evening. The best
chance of freezing rain will be late morning into early
afternoon.

Welcome to Winter in central New York where one day it's in the 70s, the next day it snows and then turns to freezing rain.
