February is starting off bitterly cold and maybe really snowy.  Hopefully the old wive's tale, that if February comes in "like a lion, it'll go out like a lamb" will hold true.  Here's the details from the NWS office in Binghamton.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect because heavy snow is a
possibility...but not a certainty.  At this time...there is the
potential for snow accumulations of 7 inches or more. Travel
conditions could become hazardous...so it is important to monitor
The latest forecasts and statements if you are planning to travel
in the watch area.
Currently it looks like the heaviest snow will stay in southern Oneida County and northeast Pennsylvania.  Keep up to date with the latest forecasts.
