Winter Storm Warning Posted

Winter weather was late in coming this years but it looks like Old Man Winter is going to make up for lost time starting today. the National Weather Service has posted a winter storm warning beginning at 2 this afternoon and continuing until 1 Thursday afternoon. Here’s the lowdown.
Here is the immediate forecast from the National Weather Service.
Today A chance of snow, mainly after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 34. Wind chill values as low as -3. East wind 5 to 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight Snow, mainly after 7pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 24. East wind 8 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.
Thursday Snow. High near 32. Northeast wind around 14 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
