Next Saturday, May 21, is the first-ever Mohawk Aviation Day at Griffis International Airport.  The event, sponsored by MVCC's Aviation program, will bring vintage aircraft, hot air balloons and a military fly-by to Griffis.  And it's FREE.

According to the Rome Sentinel here is a list of aircraft scheduled to be on hand.

Scotia Air National Guard C-130 Ski Bird, 105 Airlift C-5 Galaxy, New York State Police helicopter, vintage aircraft, MidAirUSA Boeing 747 (and hangar tours), Mohawk Valley Firebirds and hot air balloons.
