Why I Like Clint Eastwood [VIDEO]

I may not agree with him politically but since I don’t take politics all that seriously I can still find plenty of reasons to like Clint Eastwood. First of all, he’s a talented actor whose career I have followed since he played Rowdy Yates on “Rawhide” back in the late 50′s and early 60′s. There are the terrific movies he has starred in and directed. And then there’s the fact that he doesn’t take himself too seriously as in a recent interview on CNBC.
When asked about his appearance at the Republican National Convention where he addressed an empty chair–supposedly occupied by President Obama he said,
Seemed odd at the time. But, you know, I’m an odd person,” he laughed. “One thing about getting into the senior status of life, like I am, you don’t really care,” he joked. “You just say what you say and then you get away with it.”

Like I said, he doesn’t take himself too seriously and in this day and age when so many people seem angry and uncivil his attitude is endearing. Check out the interview.
