Who wants to sing the National Anthem at the New York State Fair? Each day of the fair, and there's 13 of them, begin with live performances of the Star Spangled Banner. Here's how you can be one of them.

Usually, performances are from individuals singing. But there have been instances of acoustic renditions, duos, and even a barbershop quartet. The Anthem is performed live each morning of the fair at the Chevy Court Stage at precisely 9:58 and is the official start of the day's activities.

Performers are chosen through The Star Spangled Challenge. Between July 4 and July 25 make a video of your Anthem performance and upload it to YouTube or Vimeo. Then complete an online entry form including a link to the song. 20 finalists will be chosen from all the submissions. 13 of the 20 finalists will be decided by voting on the Fair's Facebook page.
