The United States National Geological Survey says New York Sate experienced an earthquake.

The quake happened in the early morning hours on Friday(5/4), and wasn't huge but big enough to feel.

WIVB in Buffalo reports the earthquake was located in Lake Ontario, about 26 miles northwest of Sodus Point.

The quake registered a 1.5 magnitude and it's depth was about 3 miles down.
